So I stopped by a farmer's market off of South St a couple of Tuesday's ago and met and talked to this guy, Todd, about the brownies he was
selling. I tried a sample and it was really good so I bought some. I got chocolate and mint-cheesecake, he had another flavor, cookie-brownie but he was out of those. I took them to a friend's place and we ate a little bit and I left the rest there when I went home. I came by the next day, really looking forward to eating them but my friend had devoured ALL of it. I was so sad. Then the next week, it was raining on Tuesday and I forgot to go and get some more. Sadness again...yes they are THAT good.
So I remembered to get some today and I came early to get the other flavor, cookie-brownie. I'm eating the chocolate one now, they are uber delicious. You can get them
online, or just come by Philadelphia on Tuesdays...you know cuz it's just around the corner for you west coasters right?
To top it all off, Todd is a runner who also happens to cycle and we got to talking about bike routes and about cooking and baking his brownies. Really interesting guy. He rents out a bakery and bakes big batches of brownies himself. Also next week, he'll have pumpkin flavor brownies, mmm cant' wait.
We might go ride one day when my friends and I get Adenylate Cyclases off the ground. I'll tell you more about Adenylate Cyclases in a later post.
Right now, I'm gonna go drown my sorrows in brownies baby.
